DAVID L. JOHNSON

Dave is a tireless advocate for the trees of New Jersey. He has worked diligently over the past three years to bring together support for a licensed tree expert law in New Jersey.

Dave has been active with the Society of Certified Tree Experts and the Committee for the Advancement of Arboriculture. He makes presentations to groups around the state talking about New Jersey's Big Tree program and searches for our state's giants from High Point to Cape May.

Dave is a forester with the New Jersey Forest Service. He is passionate about trees and their importance to our communities.

Dave does most of this work quietly and humbly, with little recognition or accolades. This 2007 Award of Appreciation recognizes Dave's many years of service to New Jersey's trees.
